Guide Rail with Manipulation Extension

The TSRMKG is a cardan shaft with handle, guided by a rail and coupled to the outer magnet of an RM or GMD40 sample transporter. It enables remote rotation and linear movement, offering the great advantage of the user being able to stand close to the system during manipulation for visual monitoring and coordination.
The length of the shaft is adaptable to suit the length of the sample transporter as well as your needs.

The TSRMKG is best ordered together with the sample transporter it's intended for.

Manual Linear Drive with Handwheel

The DRVRM is a manually driven linear actuator and is used for especially precise manipulation. It's high precision spindle drive coupled to the outer magnet controls linear motion. The continuous rotation of the shaft can be locked/unlocked with a locking screw. The braced linear unit ensures unchanging alignment of all components and consistent positioning.

Both our RM and GMD sample transporters can be equipped with the DRVRM option.

Tube support with pivot mounted shafts OD 10mm

This tube support features two alignment shafts with 10mm OD. Left/right threaded pivot mounts allow for linear and angular adjustment. In combination with our port aligners these alignment shafts are very helpful for proper alignment of the sample transporter axis, while at the same time protecting it against accidental bending.

Hard Grip Straight Pincer RM for SHOM Sample Plate

This pincer grip fits to all RMD and RMDG dual shaft sample transporters. Omicron or SPECS type sample carriers can be transferred over large distances. The opening/closing of the pincer is done with approximately a quarter turn of the outer magnet assembly of the sample transporter. In-Vacuum Brake for Single Shaft Sample Transporters

The IVBR in-vacuum brake adds an important safety measure to vertically mounted sample transporters. It applies controlled friction to the shaft of the sample transporter, in case the magnetic coupling and hence the shaft should slip and suddenly drop.

The in-vacuum brake is adjusted via four screws, setting how strongly the inner shaft is held.

The revolving sample carrier transports and stores two SHOM sample plates. The sample holders are typically placed into the RECOM receptors using a dual shaft WMG40 wobblestick with a RMD40 and PGWMS(OM) pincer grip.

The TSRMBD is an accessory which can be used with the magnetically driven sample transporters RM40, RMD40 and GMD40. Wherever these are used in vertical orientation and have a certain length, the TSRMBD enables easy handling of linear as well as rotary motion from the front (bottom) of the manipulator.

For quick elevation over longer distances, the belt can be used, simply pulling it by hand.
The hand wheels serve for precise linear and rotary positioning.

Larger hand wheel for quicker rotation available: TSRMBD(BW)

Employment of an IVBR in-vacuum brake for the sample transporter's inner shaft is always recommended for safety reasons.

The FRKLIFT is an accessory which can be used with the magnetically driven dual shaft sample transporters RMD40. It allows a movement perpendicular to the transfer axis. Lock ring with quick fastener

The lock ring with quick fastener consists of two halves. Subsequently it can be retrofitted anytime without removing the sample transporters magnet. The ring is useful to set an end stop for the linear motion. The handle for tightening allows for one-handed operation.

Magnetic coupling with rotation stop

The presented magnetic coupling is made for safety purposes for dual shaft sample transporters of the type RMDG40. Since pincer grips are opened/closed by turning the rear magnet, precise mechanical elements can be damaged due torque overload. This is prevented by a stopping pin whose rotational movement (around Z-axis) is limited within an angle range of 120deg.

Designed for storage and transfer purpose, the stack can be configured for carrying multiple SHOM flag style sample plates. Definition of optional additional spacers for higher slots can be specified in +1mm increments (standard spacer: 4mm).
