Diamond Wire Saw – DWS.250E
The diamond wire saw DWS.250E (endless) is a one-way table saw in vertical design.
The maximum workpiece cutting area is 250×250 mm. Diamond wire loops with a length of 2000 mm and thicknesses from 0.35 to 0.60 mm are used. The continuously adjustable wire speed goes from 4 to 12 m/s. To ensure a constant cutting pressure, the feed is done by gravity. Workpieces can be cut both wet and dry.
The DWS.250E is equipped with an operator-guided, ergonomically visible touch control. There is currently a choice of six languages (DE-EN-FR-ES-JP-CN). The industrial-grade drive and control technology ensures robust and precise operation. The built-in sensor system for end of cut, open hood or, if necessary, wire breakage ensures safety. The precision saw is made of stainless steel and anodized aluminum.
On the slot table of the DWS.250E your workpieces can be flexibly fixed with our offered clamping devices.

Adjustable Clamping Unit
Workpieces can be clamped and machined horizontally or vertically on this clamping unit equipped with grooves. The clamping unit can be fed in the X direction with an accuracy of 0.01 mm. A digital scale shows the current position.

Adjustable Stop
This adjustable stop consists of a clamping plate and a micrometer. It serves as a stop for uniform, repeatable specimen displacement. It is simply fixed in the corresponding groove of the groove table.

Built-In Micrometer
This micrometer is used to feed the various specimen holders in conjunction with the SB.60 clamping block set. The total adjustment travel is 50 mm with a feed accuracy of 0.01 mm.

Clamping Block Set
This clamping block set can be used to clamp round and square as well as small and large parts (up to 375 x 375 mm). Both clamping jaws are mounted directly on the slot table and can be moved independently of each other. The clamping block set is made of anodized aluminum, the clamping surfaces are made of stainless steel.

Clamping Block Set (up to 110mm)
This clamping block set can be used to clamp round and square as well as small and large parts (up to 110 x 110 mm). It is mounted directly on the slot table. The two clamping jaws can be moved independently of each other on the entire slot table. The SB-60 set is also used to hold all specimen holders, which can be fed with the optional built-in micrometer with an accuracy of 0.01 mm. The clamping block set is made of anodized aluminum, the clamping surfaces are made of stainless steel.

Clamping Set
With our 58-piece clamping set, parts can be clamped easily and directly on the slot table. The nickel-plated clamping elements for 10 mm grooves and M8 threads are clearly arranged in a plastic case.

Cutting Fluid
This cutting fluid is a concentrate without hazardous substances and biodegradable. An addition of 3-5% in the water avoids the corroding of the sample to be machined, e.g. made of steel, and prevents the material abrasion from sticking to the diamond wire. The liquid is filled in a transparent 1 liter plastic bottle.

Frontal Sample Carrier
This frontal sample carrier is used to hold our specimen holder discs APT.50 and KPT.50 mm as well as the mini vice MS.30 or the rotary table DT.50. The frontal sample carrier can be used with the diamond wire saw DWS.100, the clamping block set SB.60 or the clamping unit SE.XXX.

Goniometers
This goniometer is adjustable in four axes and can be inserted directly into the specimen holder of the DWS.100 with its receptacle. In conjunction with the SE.XXX clamping unit or the SB.60 clamping block set, it can also be used in all slot table machines. The adjustment key, specimen holding plate and a pair of wax pads are included in the scope of delivery.

Heating Plate
This heating plate is used for melting wax, which is used for easy and detachable mounting of your samples on our carrier disks TS. The heating surface is 18×18 cm, the max. adjustable temperature is 300°C.

Horizontal Sample Carrier
This horizontal sample carrier serves as an all-round sample holder, as small holders made in-house can be attached to it. The HPT.20/40 can be inserted directly into the specimen holder of the DWS.100. Machine Vice
This slotted machine vice has a quick clamping system. It is aligned on the slot table so that the diamond wire enters the vise slot and saws through or into the clamped part. Both sides of the workpiece are held in the process. The maximum clamping travel is 150 mm. The lightweight vise is made of anodized aluminum.

Magnifying Lamp

Potting Resin

Power Cleaner

Rotary Table
With this sample carrier can be rotated to an accuracy of 1° and then separated. This rotary table is used to hold our various sample holders with a diameter of 50 mm. The DT.50 itself is clamped on the frontal sample carrier.

Rotary Unit
If you need cutting surfaces with minimum roughness and flatness, you can’t do without the DE.130 turning unit. During the sawing process, the workpiece, which is held in a four-jaw chuck, rotates at the same time. The turning unit can be adjusted by hand in the X direction with an accuracy of 0.01 mm. A digital scale shows the current positions. Parts from 5 to 130 mm outside diameter can be clamped and separated with the turning unit. Even the smallest groove recesses can be produced with the DE.130. The unit is mounted on the grooving table. The speed is infinitely variable.

Scraper Plate
Scraper plate made of anodized Aluminim including one ceramic disc each D50 and D80 as well as a scraper blade, for the safe removal of wax residues on the sample carriers.

Side Sample Carrier
This side sample carrier is used for direct mounting of specimens or our various carrier discs (TS.X), onto which the smallest specimens can be glued. The SPT.30/80 can be used to clamp cylindrical specimens from 30 to 80 mm but also non-shaped specimens up to 90×90 mm. The side sample carrier is part of the standard equipment of the DWS.100. It is optionally available in conjunction with the SB.60 clamping block set and the SE.XXX clamping unit.

Signal Light
This signal lamp indicates the operating status of the diamond wire saw with 3 colors (green-yellow-red). Since our saws can work without constant supervision, the signal light helps to inform the operator about the operating status over a greater distance.

Special Wax
With this special wax, samples can be easily and detachably bonded to our carrier discs TS. The carrier disc is heated on a heating plate and the wax is melted on it at approx. 70°C. The samples is then pressed into the liquid wax and allowed to cool. The sample is then pressed into the liquid wax and allowed to cool. The wax holding force is quite sufficient for a diamond wire cut.

Spray Protection
The Plexiglas splash guard protects the work table from being tampered with during sawing and from possible water splashes or material splinters. It is simply placed in the groove of the groove table.

Under Table
This under table for placing our diamond wire saws, consisting of aluminum profiles with plastic panels and a three-part and lockable drawer cabinet. Available with adjustable machine feet or two fixed and two movable casters. The size and height of the lower table is adapted to the corresponding saw type for ergonomic working.
